1992年，一個難以忘懷的記憶。

1月18日，小平同志南巡開始了春天的故事。

8月18日，又一個風和日麗的日子，養豬人有了自己的家，一個溫暖的港灣。屋檐下有豬便成了“家”，每每想于此，我們滿含熱淚。

從成立之初到發展之時，我們養豬人無不歡欣鼓舞、心潮澎湃。歲月如梭，20年過去了，那一張張熟悉的面孔浮現在眼前，那一雙雙飽含深情的眼神靜靜注視。

從藍耳病的爆發到環狀病毒的肆虐，從2006年不明原因發熱到2010年的仔豬腹瀉，養豬人依然攜手并進；

從庭院飼養到集約化養殖的推行，從工廠化養殖到人工授精的采用，從早期斷奶的嘗試到高床飼養的探索，從洋種豬的大舉進入到地方豬種的重新崛起，養豬人經歷了種種艱難的選擇；

從養豬環境治理到沼氣工程的實施，從水泡糞到干清糞工藝的改進，從拒絕使用瘦肉精的承諾到飼料質量的大幅度提升，從生態養豬到健康比賽，養豬人在偉大的良心中前行。

“品種”、“品牌”、“品質”將成為養豬人重新劃定的目標，“反思”將引領養豬人邁上更新的臺階。

我們秉承：“自強不息”的生存法則，“忘而無妄”的專業素養，“恬淡虛無”的商業情操。

我們堅信：困難壓不倒我們堅強的身軀，風雨阻擋不了我們前進的步伐。食品安全、行業自律，我們養豬人發出了響亮的聲音。

二十歲，我們依然年輕。

未來，我們風雨同舟……

※ 現代化生產線110套。
※ 農民養豬專業戶發展到6500多家。
※ 3個養豬基地縣。
※ 20多個外貿出口基地場。
※ 年出口活大豬43.2萬頭、中豬10.7萬頭。

※ 95 pig farms with annual output of more than 5000 commodity pig.
※ 110 sets of modern production line.
※ Over 6500 pig raisers.
※ 3 pig base counties.
※ Over 20 export base field.
※ Annual export 432000 live big pigs and 107000 middle pigs.

協會經過十年時間的積累，開始步入發展期。協會進一步加強跟兄弟省份的交流，也進一步加強了企業之間的交流，同時也加強了跟地方協會的溝通。而由協會主辦的種豬展銷會影響力越來越大，開始吸引了大批省外企業來參展。

2008——2012年是廣東省養豬行業協會高速發展的階段。在四年里，協會會員單位從200增加到300多個。博覽會展位從130個到316個，仍供不應求，32屆博覽會參會人數再創歷史新高，超過一萬人次。這一切，都表明，協會的影響力踏上了新臺階！同時，這四年也是廣東養豬業大步邁上生態和健康養殖之路的四年。標準化，規�；l展順利，菜籃子供應充足。　　截至2011年我省生豬存欄2270萬頭，增長0.8%，其中能繁母豬存欄254萬頭，增長0.8%；出欄肉豬3750萬頭，增長0.5%；豬肉產量278萬噸，增長1.1%；農民純收入9315元，增長18%。 2008 -- 2012 is the high-speed development stage for Guangdong Pig industry association. In the four years, association member units increased from 200 to over 300, and fair booth increased from 130 to 316, which still could not satisfy the demand; the attendance of 32th exp. Record a historical new level, more than ten thousand people. All of these show that the influence of association embarked on a new level! At the same time, Guangdong Pig industry strides on the ecological and health road in the four years. Standardization and dimensions became the characteristic of Guangdong swine industry. By 2011, the pig amount on hand is up to 22,700,000, increasing 0.8%, wherein the sow population is 2,540,000, increasing 0.8%, flesh pig population is 37,500,000, increasing 0.5%; pork output is up to 2,780,000 tons, increasing 1.1%; and the net income of farmer is RMB9315 , with growth of 18%.
